SV Microwave has recently expanded our tooling portfolio with a new family of installation and removal tools. Designed for Threaded SMPM connectors and our QuarterBack secure-locking line, these tools:

Our Secure-Locking Tools provide consistent handling and controlled operation, making installing the small interface of SMPS Quarterback and Threaded SMPM connectors in tight-pitch assemblies easier. This reduces the risk of over-torquing. Ideal for high-density, high-frequency environments, these are suitable for both production teams and field technicians.

Wrench Tools
Threaded SMPM Torque Wrench
Our Threaded SMPM Torque Wrench allows you to install a Threaded SMPM connector to a specific, measurable value (in this case, 20-30 oz-in). This enables you to avoid over-torquing the connector and, in turn, avoid damage to the PCB.

The Threaded SMPM Wrench is ideal for installing panel mount or edge launch Threaded SMPM connectors
Torque Tools
Threaded SMPM Torque Tool, 6” & 11”
Our 6” Threaded SMPM Torque Tool, much like a typical screwdriver, is ideal for installing/uninstalling Threaded SMPM surface mount connectors as well as Threaded SMPM connectors located in hard-to-reach areas on the board.
We also offer an 11” Threaded SMPM Torque tool that provides the same abilities as the 6” tool. However, the extra length on the driver improves access to the locations deeper in the box or chassis.
SMPS QB Female Cable Connector Torque Tools, 6” & 11”
Our 6” SMPS QB (QuarterBack) Female Cable Connector Torque Tool is ideal for installing/uninstalling SMPS QB surface mount connectors as well as QB SMPS connectors in hard-to-reach locations on the board.
We also offer an 11” SMPS QB Female Cable Connector Torque Tool that provides the same abilities, but the extra length allows for better access to locations deeper within the box or chassis.
