C connectors have 50 ohm constant impedance, operate at DC to 11 GHz and have excellent power handling capability. Type C connectors are medium in size and weatherproof. These connectors are similar in size to N connectors, but utilize overlapping dielectrics for longer breakdown paths. C connectors feature a two-stud bayonet lock, which allows for quick and easy coupling. They may be used with 75 Ohms cables, at lower frequencies (below 300 MHz), where no serious mismatch is introduced.
