The PTNC connector is SV Microwave's precision version of the TNC and offers the user superior electrical characteristics. With a frequency range of DC to 15 GHz and tighter machine tolerances, the PTNC series is used in applications such as telecom, base stations, radars, and antennas. The PTNC has a threaded coupling interface, which ensures the connector will not de-couple in vibration-intensive applications.
The PTNC series is constructed in stainless steel passivated or gold plated. In addition the PTNC series meets or exceeds all parameters of MIL-PRF-39012 TNC connectors designed to this military specification.
