SV Microwave continues to expand our line of Multiport High Frequency Contacts. Beginning with the Size 8 BMZ operating to 18 GHz and fitting into M38999 cavities, SV has expanded our M38999 product line to include size 8 to 40 GHz, Size 12 to 60 GHz and Size 16 to 65 GHz. SV’s float mount technology ensures a fully continuous mated pair regardless of environmental conditions. Our contacts are available in a variety of terminations, from board mounting, flexible and semi-rigid coax .047” to low loss .290” and beyond. Other industry standard designs SV has applied high frequency contacts into include ARINC 404 and 600, MIL-DTL-83527 and VITA connectors.
Coordination between Amphenol divisions has produced high frequency contacts for a number of proprietary designs as well. SV and Amphenol Aerospace have collaborated to introduce high frequency contacts into their HDB3 and LRM connectors, the Amphenol Backplane Systems’ VIPER series and Amphenol Air LB’s SIM Modular Interconnection . We also produce custom multiport blocks with standard cavity sizes and SV proprietary designs.
These new contacts have enabled SV to combine RF-Microwave and D/C signal and power in hybrid harnesses. Our hybrid harnesses provide simplified interconnection and smaller package size to aid both designers and operators in the field.
