Micro-D coax contacts now available from SV Microwave
SV Microwave has developed coax contacts to fit the Micro-D form factor. Collaborating with sister Amphenol divisions has enabled SV Microwave to offer the contacts in a number of configurations. This hybrid technology further enables designs to include RF/Microwave and DC in a single connector, simplifying and condensing packaging. Current designs include flexible and semi-rigid cable termination, as well as, right angle and straight board mounts. The contacts can be designed to meet any type of custom need while being used in off the shelf Micro-D inserts or adapted to custom inserts and shells. Current electrical specifications are 1.30 VSWR DC – 3 GHz, and 1.40 VSWR 3 – 10 GHz.
